The opportunity
You'll lead design across our product portfolio, with primary focus on Product.ai. In this high-impact role, you'll:
- Shape the future of AI-powered shopping experiences from the ground up
- Lead and mentor our growing design team
- Partner directly with our founder and product leaders
- Drive innovation in AI interface design
- Create experiences used by millions of shoppers
You'll report directly to our founder / CEO and work closely with our AI engineering and product teams to define the future of e-commerce.
What you'll do
First 30 days:
- Build relationships with key stakeholders across product and engineering
- Deep dive into our product portfolio and ongoing initiatives
- Begin developing comprehensive design vision
- Start mapping key user journeys and interaction patterns
First 60 days:
- Take ownership of Product.ai design direction
- Begin establishing scalable design processes
- Start mentoring team members
- Lead first major feature redesign
First 6 months:
- Define and implement design system strategy
- Drive significant UX improvements across products
- Build high-performing design team culture
- Demonstrate measurable impact on key metrics
About you
Must-haves:
- 10+ years of product design experience
- Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional UI / UX work
- Experience designing complex consumer products
- Track record of shipping successful features
- Excellence in modern design tools (especially Figma)
- Strong systems thinking and pattern recognition
- Aptitude for AI interface design
- Proven ability to lead and mentor designers
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience designing AI/ML products
- Background in e-commerce or marketplaces
- Understanding of LLM capabilities and limitations
- Data visualization experience
- Experience with design systems
- Prototyping abilities

Compensation & growth opportunity
We align individual success with company performance:
- Base salary: $180,000 - $260,000 DOE
- Equity: 0.5% - 1.0% initial grant
- Partners Program: Our unique profit-sharing system
